Here's a brief history;
I started my career at Zenith Media via Saatchi & Saatchi in London, working in the integrated P&G agency. My journey took me from buying to strategy, to comms planning at a London independent. Here I built early interest and expertise in growth planning for start-ups and challengers, creating huge impact with small budgets for brands such as King of Shaves, WKD and Paddy Power, fuelling my passion for innovative problem solving.
In 2005, seeing an opportunity in organic products and lifestyle trends, I started an e-commerce business, theorganicskinstore.com, while ultimately it did not make me rich, it gave me first hand experience of managing my own marketing and acquisition budgets. I continue to apply the same care to my clients' investments as I did to my own.
In 2008 I accepted the offer to move to a new culture and challenge in China. My first role was at Mindshare, Managing Director, responsible for accelerating business performance, content planning and strategic capability through leadership of our assignments with clients such as Unilever, Nike, Land Rover and L'Oréal.
In 2015, after two years as Chief Strategy Officer at Mediacom, I joined MEC as China CEO, doubling revenue within 2 years through digital capability building and an aggressive new business drive.
In 2017 I led the launch of Wavemaker in China and North Asia, successfully merging two agencies into one formidable company, with an unrivalled entrepreneurial culture. In 2018 I took the role of CEO Wavemaker Asia-Pacific. Growing the business to the #2 agency network in the region, with over 2,500 people and 500 clients across 33 offices in 17 countries.
Transformation of businesses, talent, capability and product are at the heart of everything I have done and achieved in my career, and this experience is is now being used to create value for entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, business owners, and the marketing and financial communities.
Matt is a pioneering entrepreneur and digital ad specialist known for his significant industry contributions in Asia-Pacific. He established one of the first digital ad businesses in APAC, expanding it to seven locations before a lucrative US$65m sale.
His subsequent roles include VP of FOX International Channels, and setting up Accuen, Omnicom’s agency trading desk business. He managed Digital Audiences at Experian and led The Trade Desk's APAC business for seven years.
Matt's influence is underscored by his roles on the IAB SEA and India leadership councils. His unique talent gives Elucidate X an unrivalled leadership in implementation and execution of strategy.
Palvinder is a leading expert in the field of digital transformation and application of AI in business solutions.
He has held senior roles at Google, AWS and Microsoft, giving him a unique insight into major tech. This allows him to navigate complex organisational structures and drive transformative change for clients.
His work in Singapore includes cutting edge governmental transformation projects during Covid19 that shaped the nation’s response, and saw his team develop core technology to aid in Singapore’s recovery.
He brings a wealth of experience to Elucidate X in the fields of Alternate Connectivity, Sustainability, Cloud, Blockchain, AI and Quantum computing.
